  • 1- What inspired you to create "Fixed on You"?

Nothing original there, a break up with my then girlfriend that took some time to heal.

  • 2- How would you describe the essence of this new song?

I always feel a bit uneasy when asked to describe music or art. I don’t think it’s meant to.

  • 3- How did your journey in music begin?

Very early around 7. We had a piano in our house.

It was obvious to me. I don’t remember giving it much thought.

  • 4- What artists or experiences have most influenced your style?

I tend to lean artistically to dark and intense shades of life but i am equally fascinated by moments of clarity and connection. I guess artists from any field that explored that short of atmosphere in their work have been an influence. But i get lost trying to name them. They are so loved and so many.

  • 5- What role does Greek culture play in your compositions?

This is a very difficult question. One i avoid my self.

Maybe because i’d strive to find in a globalised world what exactly is the Greek culture today. Or any culture for that matter in the western world.

But as i avoid giving your question the in-depth and thoughtful answer it deserves i’m comforted for now by the notion or at least the hope that inevitably

somewhere between the notes a bit of Attica’s light slides in. A taste of sea salt.

Most of all a certain simplicity and aesthetic that through the centuries define our culture.

  • 6- Are there plans for a full-length album soon?

The material is there, keeps evolving and it is my wish.

I guess it has to do with the right circumstances.

  • 7- What emotions or themes would you like to explore in your next compositions?

I never plan these things ahead. It wouldn’t really matter even if i did.

They take you where they want despite your intentions.

  • 8- How do you dream your career will evolve in the coming years?

‘’Expectations is the root of all heartache’’ said W. Shakespeare so i’ll leave you

with that quote and with my short term plans that involve another single coming

out in spring, much more music in one form or the other after the summer as well as live performances.
